Fission track dating of Paleolithic site at Baise in Guangxi, South China

Abstract: Many stone artifacts have been found in Youjiang River Valley in Bose ("Baise')Basin, Guangxi, South China in recent years. These indicate early human living in this basin. Age determination has been carried out for the site by using tektite excavated from the same layer of deposits in which the stone artifacts were found. The age of the site is 0.732±0.039 Ma.
