Abstract: Cluster analysis and principal component analysis on data of anthropometry from Asian populations showed that Asian populations could be divided into north populations and south populations. The man of north populations have a strong physique ( high stature, broad distance between iliaccrests, heavy weight, big girth of chest, short four limbs) , but one of south populations is slender in physique. The southern national minorities of China belong to south populations in the light of phsical traits. The north populations could be divided into five groups. Every one of them had distinctive physical traits respectively.
