Abstract: A comparison between the handprints of Sanda athletes and some cancer patients (those diagnosed with stomach, lung and esophageal cancer) shows almost identical characteristics. Developmental trends of fingerprint whorl patterns increase, whereas ulnar loop patterns decrease. The related index sign data differ between the reference group and the contrast group by statistics analysis. It is suggested that the Sanda athletes
diet may have an effect on preventing the occurrence of malignant pathological changes above.
